Who this is from
This site is run by Recognize Consulting Private Limited, a company registered in India and part of the Dhanesh Indore Group. Our office is at Office No. 2, A-Wing, Prabhavee Tech Park, Baner, Pune, Maharashtra 411045, India.
For anything in this policy, including a request to see or delete what we hold, write to marketing@recognizegroup.com or to the postal address above.
02
What this covers
This policy covers recognizegroup.com. Work we do for a client is governed by the agreement signed for that work, and where the two disagree, the agreement governs.
03
What we collect
- What you send us. If you email us, call us, or fill in a form on this site, we receive what you put in it: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, the company you work for, and the message itself. We do not ask for more than that, and none of it is required to read the site.
- What our host records. The server that serves this site keeps standard access logs, which include the IP address a request came from, the browser and operating system it reported, the page asked for, and the time. We use these to keep the site running and to investigate abuse.
- Nothing else. This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts, and it sets no cookies. There is no profile of you here to build, because we do not collect the things one would be built from. See the cookie policy.
04
Why we hold it
To answer you. If you ask us for a proposal, we hold what you sent in order to prepare one, which is a step taken at your request before any contract. Beyond that we have a legitimate interest in keeping a record of who approached us and what was discussed.
We do not use enquiry details for marketing to people who did not ask to hear from us, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us once.
05
Who else sees it
Our hosting and email provider processes this data on our behalf in order to serve the site and deliver mail. Nobody else receives it unless the law requires us to hand it over.
Meta receives something, and only if you allowed marketing in the cookie banner. When you send the enquiry form, our server passes Meta a one-way scrambled version of your email address and phone number, along with your IP address and browser, so that Meta can tell us whether one of our advertisements produced the enquiry. The scrambling is SHA-256 hashing, which Meta requires: your actual email address and phone number never leave our server. Refuse marketing, or ignore the banner, and none of this happens.
Microsoft receives a recording of your visit, if you allowed analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity to see where people give up on a page, and it plays a visit back as a silent reconstruction: the path of your pointer, what you clicked, how far you scrolled. It is not a video of your screen and it captures no other tab, window or application. Anything you type into the enquiry form is masked before the recording leaves your browser, so the playback shows that a field was filled and never what was in it. Refuse analytics and no recording is made.
Google receives the same kind of thing, on the same condition. If you allowed marketing and then send the enquiry form, your email address and phone number are scrambled inside your own browser and passed to Google Ads, so it can tell us which advertisement produced the enquiry. The scrambling is one-way, it happens before anything is sent, and the readable values are held in your browser only for the moment between sending the form and the thank-you page loading, then deleted. They are never put into a web address, where they would end up in your history and in the logs of every site you visited next.
Microsoft Advertising receives the same scrambled pair on the same condition, for the same reason, and it is scrambled the same way before it leaves your browser. This is separate from the Clarity recording described above, which depends on analytics rather than marketing, and you can allow either without the other.
LinkedIn receives less. If you allowed marketing, LinkedIn is told that an enquiry was made and which of its advertisements you had seen or clicked. Nothing you typed is sent to LinkedIn at all: not your name, not your email address, not your phone number, not a scrambled version of any of them. It knows an enquiry happened and not who made it.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with data brokers. If we later connect a customer relationship system to the enquiry form, this page will name it before that happens rather than after, which is what we did for Meta.
06
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as it takes to answer you and, where it becomes a client relationship, for as long as Indian tax and company law requires those records to be retained. Where we are not required to keep something, and you ask us to delete it, we will.
07
What you can ask for
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and as a matter of how we would want to be treated in any case, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it.
- Correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything half-recorded.
- Delete what we are not required to keep.
- Withdraw consent you have given, at which point we stop the processing that relied on it.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become incapacitated.
Write to marketing@recognizegroup.com and say which of these you want. We will not charge you for it. If you are not satisfied with how we handled a request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
08
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS and asks browsers to refuse an unencrypted connection. Access to enquiry mail is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. No system is beyond compromise, and we would rather say that plainly than describe our security with adjectives.
09
Children
This site is aimed at people looking for a marketing agency, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to marketing@recognizegroup.com and we will delete it.
10
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. If a change affects what we do with something you have already sent us, we will say so here rather than rely on you noticing a date.
