What this group does

It puts a company physically in front of the people it sells to. Industry days, exhibition stands, outdoor advertising and activations, planned and run on the day.

Considered purchases are still decided by people who want to meet the team before they commit two years to them. No amount of digital shortens that, and pretending otherwise costs deals.

We plan it, build it and run it. The photographs and the follow-up list arrive with the invoice, while everyone still remembers who they met.

This is the only group where the deadline is real. A stand that is late is a stand that does not exist, and a venue booked a fortnight out is whatever nobody else wanted. Most of what makes an event work is settled in the weeks before anyone arrives: the format, the list, the running order and the follow-up. That is why planning is the longest part of this group and the part we will not compress to fit a date.

How it runs

  1. Planning

Format, audience, venue and date. For a stand, design and fabrication start here, because a stand designed in the last fortnight looks like one.

  2. The build-up

Invitations and registration, branding and collateral, suppliers confirmed, and the running order agreed with everybody who is speaking.

  3. The day and after

We are there from setup to teardown. Photographs, film, the attendance list and the follow-up list are handed over within five working days.

Questions we get asked

How much notice do you need for an event?

Four weeks for a roundtable, six to eight for an industry day, and ten for an exhibition stand that has to be fabricated. We have run things faster and it costs more for a worse result.

Do you handle the venue and the suppliers, or do we?

We do. Sourcing the venue, holding the date and coordinating suppliers is part of the work. Catering and audio-visual are booked by you directly, because those contracts are better in your name.

What counts as a result from an event?

Who attended, what they said they were dealing with, and who is worth a follow-up call. Attendance on its own is a number that tells you the invitations worked, and nothing else.

Who runs the day itself?

We are there from setup to teardown. Your people talk to guests and ours make sure the day runs, which is the split that works.

How quickly do we get the photographs?

Edited and handed over within five working days, along with the attendance and follow-up list. An event report that arrives a month later is a document nobody acts on.

Do you work outside Pune?

Yes. We run events and stands across India and the team travels to them. Local suppliers get used wherever they are better or cheaper, and we show you which part of the budget is going to travel rather than into the event itself, so you can decide whether that trade is worth making.

What happens to the people who attend?

You get the attendance list and the follow-up list within five working days, showing who came, who spoke to us and what they asked about. An event with no follow-up is a party you paid for. We would rather hand over a short list of real conversations than a long list of badges scanned.

What does an event actually cost?

The venue, the build and the catering are the large numbers and they vary far more than our fee does. You get a budget split at the planning stage showing what goes where, so the parts that matter least to you are the parts that get cut. Cutting by what is easiest to cut is how events end up dull and still expensive.
