What happened
जे का रंजले गांजले, त्यासी म्हणे जो आपुले। तोचि साधू ओळखावा, देव तेथेंचि जाणावा॥ Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj.
Ashadhi Wari moves hundreds of thousands of Warkari across Maharashtra on foot. TechOrbit Foundation wanted to serve rather than be seen serving, and that decided how we ran it.
We organised the foundation's seva point, coordinated what was distributed and when, and briefed the volunteers who came from TechOrbit Solutions. Branding was kept deliberately small, because a distribution point covered in logos is an advertisement with a queue in front of it.
We photographed the day and wrote it up afterwards, with the foundation agreeing what was appropriate to publish before anything went out.
Scope
The 6 things we ran
Event Strategy & Concept
The format, the audience and the reason for the day, settled before a venue is held or an invitation goes out.
Venue & Vendor Management
Sourcing the venue, holding the date and coordinating the suppliers who have to be on site and ready before anyone arrives.
Branding & Signage
Standees, badges, screen artwork and the printed pieces that carry the client's mark through the venue.
Photography & Videography
Stills and film shot on the day, edited and handed over as a set the client can use everywhere else.
Social Media Coverage
Posting through the day and the recap that runs afterwards, so the audience is larger than the room.
Public Relations & Storytelling
The write-up, the press contact and the account that carries an initiative to people who were not there.

Restraint is the entire editorial decision on an initiative like this. The coverage stays close to what was done and says nothing about what it meant, because the people it was done for were not there to be content.
