Corporate social responsibility

A foundation, given a public face.

A corporate foundation that began with no public presence at all, and the brand, site and coverage that made it real to people outside the company.

What the work is

TechOrbit Foundation is the group's social arm, and it began with no public presence at all. The first job was to make it real to people outside the company: a name, a mark, a place to read what it does.

Since then the work has mostly been about showing initiatives honestly as they happen, from the first stationery distribution through to plantation drives and Wari Seva. The events section carries each of them.

The restraint matters more here than anywhere else on this list. A foundation that markets itself harder than it works is read exactly that way, so the coverage stays close to what happened on the day and the writing stays out of the way of it.

Scope

The 7 services we run

  • Brand Strategy

Positioning, messaging and the language the company uses about itself, agreed before anything is designed.

  • Website Design & Development

Designed, built and kept up, from the first wireframe through to the pages added months later.

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

The technical work, the content and the links that decide whether the company is found when somebody goes looking.

  • Social Media Management

The calendar, the artwork, the writing and the replies, run month after month rather than in bursts.

  • Graphic Design

Everything the brand needs made: decks, advertising, brochures and the artwork each channel asks for.

  • Public Relations

Press relationships, the releases that go to them and the coverage that follows.

  • Event Coverage & Storytelling

Photography, film and the write-up that carries an initiative to the people who were not in the room.
